Scope: Design Concept & Feasibility Study
This is a proposed development sits in a densely occupied urban setting. The design vision is to explore the potential of ‘urban revitalisation’ turning the development into a new ‘contemporary urban space’, returning the green urban park back to public in a new face.
The site is long and narrow. The elongated mass is separated vertically creating the Hotel and Service Residence blocks; and horizontally creating two layers of urban park, ground floor for public use and elevated for private use. Due to the site constraint, the tower blocks are resting on a mechanical carpark podium structure.
