RESIDENCE 11

This was a bidding proposal on ‘design & build’ basis. The task was to propose a design solution by keeping the structure of existing 2-storey house and inserting the new program that can accommodate the current needs. 

The house’s minimalist lines are complemented by the screed floor and skim coated soffit, enhancing the flow of the open-plan, double volume living area and adjacent rooms. The double volume living space with large unobstructed glazing blends seamlessly with its leafy surrounds, frames the majestic trees within its vicinity. The loftily proportioned structure opens up entirely to the garden with its rolling lawn and sleek swimming pool, effectively blurring the boundary between interior and exterior spaces.
