LIDO RESIDENCE

Located at Lido Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, the design aesthetic, from the external building skin to the internal spatial arrangement was inspired by dancing dragon, which the Chinese believes to be the symbolic of good fortune and prosperity. The double-volume Chinese Restaurant on the ground when lighted up at night, looks like the legendary pearl in the mouth of the dragon that glows in the dark. The diagonal-shaped wire mesh and green wall mesh are arranged randomly, carried through its soaring tower, up to the roof top symbolises the dragon’s serpentine body and tail. And this dragon tail will bring the human flow up to the sky-high retreat.
